Good afternoon all. Well, almost. Just wanted to let you all know that Jaque has been a little under the weather, but nothing to worry about at this point. She is working hard in theraphy. One of her friends Kelly will be going home this weekend. She is out of the day program.
Jaque was asked to set goals when we got back, her list was lengthy. They were inpressed. We could tell by the visit home that getting mobile is her number one goal. In true Jaque form, she wants to eat and sleep at home, and that is about it. We have been worrying about a lot of different little things, but it is all in God's hands. He has her, and is keeping her close. He is healing her.
Last night, Jaque was asleep, and Chris was too. I was watching TV, and Jaque just kind of stretched. Then (while she was sleeping) she raised her left knee up and prop'd it up on her right leg. Just like that. I watched so intensely. I want to make sure that she was not just having muscle spasms. Of course this morning, she just giggled at me. BUT LET IT RESTORE YOUR FAITH IN THAT GOD HAS BEGUN WORK IN HER, AND CONTIUES TO HEAL HER EVERY MOMENT OF EVERY DAY.
One thing that this has taught us all (as I feel everyone reading this is in this with us) is Patience. I remembered the night of her accident. I went over in my head all that could have happened. All the stories you hear, what could have been. Then I paused, and told the devil to remember that I had no time or interest in him. He needed to leave our room, because he was not welcome. Then I praised God for all the good he does, and is doing.
Would it not be great if we did this in all the conflict in our life? I can see that Jaque truely blesses each life that she touches here at ATL. Although this weekend without you all will be hard, it will be just a moment in our lives that will make the rest of our lives so much sweeter. And rest assured that the easter bunny knows that we are in ATL, and will get that basket delivered.
Grandma's and Papa's - we could not have done this without you. You made us the parents that we are - and you stil bless us in each converstaion. The important things in life are family and friends, and know in your heart that you have done a great job and we are so proud that you are our parents. And yes, our cup runneth over. And over, and over.
I tell Jaque that in life you have two choices, to go down or to look up --- and we are all looking up, and ready to receive God's blessings each day. Happy Easter Everyone, say a special prayer of thanks for God's good work in Jaque, and please be sure and pray for all those here in Atlanta Shepherd Center that cannot be with their family.

Hey Guys, I hope you find someplace really good to eat for Easter dinner. So, I am guessing Jaque didnt find the eggs I hide while we were at ya's house! lol just kiddin'! Carol, I want you to know how much I love you. Cecil & I both. And Chris, too! We want you both to know how proud we are of how you guys are handling everything. It all comes from love and it shows! We are proud of all of you. We continue to pray for all of you and everything you guys need. I know it will all be good in the end. Well, I'd better go. I have a banquet to work tonight! We sure do miss you all bunches!!!! I just want to wrap you three in my arms and never let go. I thank God has a master plan in everything. Just remember, prayers that may have been answered through this. Lord ,let our lives slow down so that we have time to enjoy the gift of this child you have given us. Lord,bless her pathways and let lesson's be learned from our mistakes. We go through life wondering if we would ever change anything but somehow it all fits in with a plan much bigger than we could ever dream. I know at times we just want to scream but we are all on the same team. Life is a journey, filled with everything we desire. Mysteries, Dreams, fairy tales, what we need to realize is we all have one and none will be the same. Stand strong against the whiles of the devil and watch him flee. The only ground he gains is the grounds we give him. He must have permission to carry out his plan. The blessings of life from our father in heaven come no matter the storm. Hell, couldn't keep our loving father. He conquered it all for you and me so remember that when we go through hell he has been there to. When we feel as if no ones there he's been there. He hung on that cross by himself and his father weeped as he knew his son must face these challenges for you and me. Our Father went through this life just as we have with trials of every kind, hurt, wounds and tears. He came through them all with no more stripes or tears. Because he knows he carried all of OUR fears. He loves us though and he showed us with his own it can be done this world of hurt, pain and trials can be conquered. He left his instructions in black and white so don't be discouraged know that its true he left all his promises and miracles for everyone even you. Make a list and speak it often for everything God has spoken has come to past. We must follow to make it through he showed the way know its up to you. The shoe is BIG to fill I know, but he trust you and will carry you through. Faith is the things hoped for and not seen, so open you mouth to receive the unseen. Our angels work day and night so please give them the right to bring it to sight. We must speak so they can hear and obey our father for thats why their here. So put your words into action and don't let any hard work just disappear. We love you so very much may God give you peace and every loving touch. Hey Jaque, Chris and Carol! Happy Easter! Just wanted to let you guys know that we were thinking of ya'll. We love ya'll and are so proud of all 3 of you! Thanks Jaque for the Jeff Gordon stuff! I think I got alot for what I paid!!!!haha! You would think I would learn one day who I was dealing with!!! just kidding, It was well worth it to see you smile! Happy Easter Chris, Carol , and Jaque. We sure missed y'all at the house this year. It just wasn't the same without y'all and CJ. It was rather lonesome even though I had about 24 people at the house today. As usual I cooked and everyone ate till they were stuffed. I had my picture frame going with all the pictures of you and your mom, dad. Everyone enjoyed looking at them and asked about you. They are truly amazed at the strength and courage you have.
I'm sorry to hear you are under the weather. We prayed a special pray in church this morning for you and your mom and dad.
God has done mighty things in all of us. Your family is an inspiration to everyone. God's light shines through each of you. Jaque you have an opportunity to touch and influence so many peoples lives each and everyday. Your SMILE is contagious and your positive attitude is unbelievable. God did not bring you this far not to take you all the way. Your mother is right patience is so very important. I know I don't always have as much patience as I should but I am slowly getting there. Jaque you and CJ are so much a like in many ways. You would do anything for anyone, and you are always for the underdog. You both thought you had no friends but look all around you and you can see all the people who have prayed and cont to pray for you and love you. CJ thought he didn't have any friends but you remember how many people his life and death touched. I know that you have several guardian angels in heaven but I feel that CJ is with you every step of the way cheering and rooting you on. It has been real hard for me losing CJ and then two months later this happens to you. I know GOD has a bigger plan in this than any of us can imagine. Jaque,I know the pain that I am going through doesn't compare to yours but to let you know just having you still with us and watching you helps give me strength to keep going each and everyday. Each and everyone of us have trials and tribulation that we go through and the bible says God does not give us more than we can handle. You have very special parents who would do anything for you, in that you are so very lucky. They are also blessed to have a wonderful daughter like you. Keep believing and putting your trust in God for all things are possible to those who believe in their heart and confess with their mouth that Jesus is lord.
Chris, Carol and Jaque y'all are loved so much. I pray for peace, courage and strength to do what ever you have to do each and every day. Jaque I pray that you never lose sight of the Lord. That you cont. to keep a positive attitude and cont to be able to meet the goals that you have set for yourself.
