Chris drove their vehicle to Atlanta last night so that he would be there when Carol and Jaque arrived this morning.
Chris and his cousin Karen were their waiting on Jaque to arrive.
Jaque left Arkansas this morning for Atlanta, GA.
Jaque and Carol flew out in the Children's Hospital Jet this morning. Jaque was in good spirits. Carol told me that they flew at 628 mph. I can't wait to talk to Jaque about her experience on a jet.
Carol said, when they arrived they took Jaque back to ICU where the doctors will examine and evaluate Jaque for themselves.
Chris said it is an awesome place. He is very excited to have Jaque there now so that she can begin her next steps to getting to come home.
It is going to be very hard on Jaque, Chris and Carol these next few weeks. They need everyone's continued prayers and support. Remember Jaque has a computer and can read her emails now. So everyone please continue sending her emails to jaqueshomeplate8@yahoo.com, also visit her blog, www.jaquehall.com. She will be able to read everything everyone sends her.
Jaque we don't know yet what kind of visiting you will be allowed, but you can bet as soon as we can Grandma Ladonna, Grandpa Danny, Grandma Kay, Grandpa Larry, Grandpa Phillip and Grandma Melinda will be there to she you. We love you very much Jaque and you just keep your eyes on God remember All things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive. Don't forget your scripture Jeremiah 30:17. Also remember what CJ would tell you. God did not give you the spirit of fear but of power love and a sound mind.
We love you very much.

Haworth benefit for Jaque
I received this email from Audie Smith regarding a benefit dinner they had for Jaque.
This is the article they are putting in the Haworth paper. I wanted to share this with everyone.
A benefit for Jaque Hall, Haworth juniior, was held in Haworth on January 29, 2008. Haworth Athletics in conjunction with several school and community organizations as well as Bokhoma Masonic Lodge #249 and Goodwater Masonic Lodge #148 helped raise approximately $16,000. Haworth cafeteria staff, students, faculty, and several community members prepared the delicious meal and donated numerous desserts that were sold by silent auction during the chili suppper and live auction during the games.
Members and sponsors of Haworth Athletics, art club, FFA, FCCLA, yearbook staff, track team, FCA, quiz bowl, drama club, Spanish club, 4-H and many other volunteers worked diligently to organize and participate in this fund raising event. Both Masonic Lodges were well represented. These organizations along with auctioneer,Kevin Sain, assisted by Brad Raney, Elton Cooke, Masonic Lodge members and Haworth Cheerleaders were instrumental in the auctions" sucess. All Haworth, several Idabel and surrounding area businesses, including some from Arkansas and Texas donated items and/or money. Several co-workers of Chris and Carol were in attendance or made donations to the Jaque Hall Benefit.
Wright City displayed support in many ways. The Wright City girls' team and cheerleaders wore green ribbons to honor Jaque while the faculty, students, fans, administrators, coaching staff, and referees made generous donations or attended the chili supper. Since Jaque's accident, numerous schools from Oklahoma, Texas, and Arkansas have shown support with phone calls, cards, emails and donations.
Jaque was transferred Thursday to Atlanta, Georgia for rehabilitation at Shephard's Center, a facility that specializes in spinal cord injury.
The Hall family extends their appreciation for the communication and monetary support they have received. They especially appreciate the endless prayers that have been said for Jaque's recovery. They know that they are truly Blessed.
Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, and cousins would also like to thank everyone May God Bless each and everyone of you.

Physical Therapy
Jaque is getting stronger and looking better everyday. Today her physical therapist Bryan stood her up with the tilt table and supports. She tolerated well. While standing she played poker with her therapist, mom and dad.
After using the tilt table she was assisted in a wheel chair and was escorted all around the hosp. She has been down to PICU to visit all of her nurses that took care of her when she first got here. Jaque also had to show off her Micheal Jordan high tops that her Grandma Ladonna and Grandma Kay got for her. They were amazed at how good she looked and how far she has come. Her favorite spot of the hospital was the gift shop. She enjoyed looking at all the stuffed animals.
Jaques' spirits are good. She is looking forward to going to Atlanta to start her road to get home. She knows she has to start at first base then travel to second, on around to third and finally slide into home (Haworth).
We feel Jaque with her positive attitude, determination and God by her side as he has been thus far, that she will succeed with record time.
Jaque was glad to see everyone that has visited her, and wrote emails to her. She wanted me to let everyone know she is missing everyone and wants to get back to school to see all her friends and teachers and especially back to Haworth cafe to have her Jaque special.
We are off to Atlanta for sure Thursday. Please continue to pray for her a speedy recovery, and also remember her mom and dad.
Jaque also had someone call about the benefit ballgame, chilli supper and auction. She was so excited.
Jaque says thank you to everyone for all your love and continued support.
Ps Please continue to email her. She loves to hear from y'all. She may not be able to answer your emails yet but we will keep everyone up to date with her progress.

Life's a Journey
Life's a Journey
We live, we learn, we laugh, and cry.
Some of the times we don't know why?
There's times we've all had to say some good-byes.
This family has done that this past year.
When we lost someone very dear.
Sometimes things aren't as they seem.
Times get tough but we will never accept the devils bluff.
Our family has gathered a lot this month.
But not to worry we'll make it through.
When it's tiring, frustrating and some of the time exhausting to.
We remember you and what we're going through.
We sitck together and make things happen.
We'll make it even through thick and thin.
Livin a life, livin a dream even when we all just want to scream.
In the mist of the storm we can not bicker, argue, or fight.
For we can not allow the devil any delight.
If you've ever felt hurt or maybe not loved.
Remember, these words from up above.
Love one another as I have loved you.
Forgive so I can forgive you.
We all have a story that will never end.
But maybe we can all learn to be friends.
Life is tough and sometimes mean but, not all of God's
plans can be seen.
God has blessed us all.
He was sent from above to pave the way.
To save each and everyone we meet.
So won't you please just take a seat.
I'm a friend with a tale.
I'm not perfect, and not always right but I'm sent here to
be part of God's light.
That's all he ask of me, so that he could set us free!
I learned to love him with all my might.
So please don't judge me and lets not fight, for
he come to show us what is right.
There's only one man with no sin.
That man's not me.
So if you would please don't remember my faults.
For God has risen and with those results we will stand.
So please will you take my hand?

News Flash
Well guess what? You got it today was not any different from day one. Jaque has totally amazed everyone again.
Lane had given her a pedicure yesterday. He then painted her toe nails lime green and wrote his name in bright orange. Jaque was the envy of all the nurses. They thought it was so special for her uncle to have done such a thing. Well when Lane was out of ear shot Jaque told her mom this is gonna have to be changed in a couple of days.
So Lane heard about it and decided to go to Wal-Mart in a ice storm and get some new polish. He picked out a couple of new colors and a glitter top coat so that he could redo her nails before he had to leave.
On the way back to the hospital there was a wreck about a forth a mile from our exit. We had to sit in traffic for 47 minutes. Just as we pulled up to the front door for me to get out and Lane go park ,the phone rang. Jaque was calling us. She told Lane to put her on speaker phone she had something to tell us. She said, "guess what I can feel- my belly." She started laughing. Lane said, "what did you say?" She said, "I ran my fingers on my lower belly and I could feel them. " I jumped out of the truck and Lane went to park. We were so excited we hurried upstairs to her room. I put my ice cold hands on her belly, she told me to move my cold hands and started laughing. Lane came in and the blanket was held up so she couldn't see him. He then touched her upper thigh and she told him to move his cold hand. Lane asked her which leg was he touching. Jaque told him the right one. Everyone was so excited.
Her nurses from PICU had heard of her pedicure and the progress she had made. They had to come and see for themselves and tell Jaque what an inspiration she was to everyone. They told her to work hard in Atlanta. One of her nurses that cared for her from day one, told her that she would see all of PICU nurses there to see her throw her first pitch when she gets back form Atlanta.
We the family would like to thank everyone for their continued support and prayers. She still has a long road ahead of her but with her faith, strong will determination and the support from her family and friends. Jaque will over come any obstacle or task put to her.
Jaque is alert and has enjoyed receiving emails form everyone. She ask that y'all continue to send emails of your continued support, encouragement and prayers.
Look out Atlanta here she comes!!!!!!!!!

here's your sign
Hey everyone, it's me grandma Kay again, uncle Lane and I are at the Ronald McDonald house and were talking about the exciting things Jaque did today. Lane said he was talking to Carol at the hospital earlier today and she said to him, do you know what next Wednesday is? Then she began to tell him on the 17th Jaque had her surgery and everything went GREAT!!!!! then guess what? Jaque flies out to Atlanta next Wednesday which is the 30th. Think about it Jeremiah 30:17 that is Jaques scripture. This could be nothing more than God letting us know that he's in control. Isn't that awesome.
PS: Not only did Jaque wiggle her toes and move her right foota little today, but she got to sit up in a chair and cruise down to the third floor to see all her nurse's in the PICU unit. That is a great big step for her. Oh yea last but not least dad was picking on her so she had to show him her pitching arm was still in working order. She threw her silicone bags that she uses to put under elbows and heels at him.

Jaque's Latest
Jaque is making great strides everyday. She is such an incredible young woman as we all know so well. She has touched more lives than she will ever realize. As Kay previously said Jaque will be making her way to Atlanta soon to start her rehab at one of the finest rehab hospitals in the World...only the best for our Jaque. I thought this was a great letter from Carol this morning and I wanted everyone to have the chance to read it...
Not sure if you all have been updated today. We made a big move last night to the 5th floor, rm 5229. She is progressing well. Her lungs are getting stronger every day.
Of course, you all know that her mouth is working well!! She is turning on that charm for the doctors and nurses. She is still taking a good amount of pain medication, but actually got to make a couple of cell phone calls last night! go jaque!! (her phone is still in my car somewhere) She is having more and more awake time each day. She understands everything that happened. She is still kind of fuzzy on some of the doctor's around here. It was a pretty emotional thing leaving ICU, sounds funny I know. Her doctors came in about 3 times to tell her goodbye, and her resp. therapy guy snuck in one last treatment as she was about to be brought to the 5th floor. And we have teary eyes in the nurses that we have grown to love!
As some of you may have heard, we are trying to make a big move to Atlanta. It is the Shepard Center, and they specialize in Spinal injuries. We are just waiting on transporation issues. Actually, we are waiting for God's plan to have her ready. Dr MacCarthy thinks that this is the best place for her to get the optimal results. Kind of like going to Idabel for a broken ankle, or going to an ortho ankle specialist.
We are learning patience and all good things are in God's timeframe.
Jaque told me that God does answer prayers. A very personal thing - she said that she asked God to not let her die, and be with her. She said, "and mom he was."
Please be sure and watch the web page as Grandma Kay is doing an excellent job of keeping her updates and progress reports for everyone.
Thank you all for all of your prayers. We really do appreciate them. God's Will WILL be done is Jaque's life. We are all positive energy, and remember to praise him for each blessing he is giving us.
You are all helping her progress. You are making a different in the life of our child. And we appreciate each and everyone.
Thanks
Mom (Carol)
Keep praying for our Jackson as she is getting stronger everyday because of Gods will and your prayers. Thank you all.

Jaque's Special Care
Jaque, we could not have asked for a better place to care for you after your accident. All the staff at Arkansas Children's Hospital are outstanding. The Doctors, Nurses and therapist have gone above and beyond the call of duty for our family and many others. The desk clerks and housekeeping have been so kind and helpful.. And lets not forget the Cooks. Not only did they serve us with a smile. The food was great. A special thanks goes out to all the amazing staff at Arkansas Children's Hospital for you caring hands, and kind and loving hearts. We are so grateful to have had ACH care for our sweet Jaque. Jaque's progress
We are so excited to update everyone of Jaque's progress. For those of you who don't know, we've already received several miracles.
-- 1st, the fact she even survived such a severe back injury
-- 2nd, her collapsed lung is repairing itself and expected to completely heal
-- 3rd, her back surgery was sucessful and (contrary to all the previous test results
indicating her spinal cord had been severed) the surgery revealed her spinal cord is
actually intact! THIS IS TRULY A WONDERFUL BLESSING!!
The doctors are amazed at how many life-threatening obstacles Jaque has overcome. We all believe she has received an actual miracle healing sent from God. Although she still has a long way to go, we feel confident her faith, strong will, rentlentless determination and positive attitude will help her through the hard journey ahead.
The support of all our family and friends (and the multitude of other people each of you reached out to) have truly helped us during this difficult time. We feel God heard ALL our prayers and has answered them! Thank you for increasing our outreach of faith.
Your continued standing on God's Word that Jaque will receive a complete healing is genuinely appreciated.

Surgery Day
SURGERY WENT GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jeremiah 30:17 For I will restore health unto thee and I will heal thee of they wounds saith the Lord...........
That is truly Jaques scripture. Most of you have already heard of Jaque's miracle today. We are so blessed to be able to serve such a mighty God. With the help of every ones prayers and standing in faith God has been here tonight and has shown us he is faithful if we only believe. Our Jaque is a very strong and gifted child of God. We are so very proud of her and the gift God has given her to make a difference in this crazy world we live in. I believe that Jaque will stand strong for God, for he has an important and very special plan for her life here on this earth. As he does for all of his children. My sweet Jaque we are here for you all the way. Let's make it a HOMERUN!!! God will NEVER give us more than we can endure. He allows us to make our own choices and then he always sees us through our mistakes. God only allows us to go through the valley's to strengthen our walk with him. For we are not here on this earth for us, we are here on this earth to serve our King of Kings. The Lord of all the heaven and earth. My family has been through quit a strom but our love for the Lord just gets stronger. Jaque has a long road ahead of her but with Gods love and grace she will surpass all the obstacles. Please continue to pray not only for Jaque and my family but also remember to pray for those that are right beside you each and every day. Thank you all for your prayers, love, and compassion for my family. If you every need a prayer partner know you can count on us. We love you all very much. May God bless each of you as we live our lives for him.

Homecoming Queen

Critically injured student named homecoming queen

In an unusual and moving event Friday night, a critically injured Haworth junior was named home-coming queen.
Jacque Hall was injured in a re-cent traffic accident and remains in the intensive care unit at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock, Ark.
Standing in for Jacque Friday at the request of her parents was Ha-worth girls’ basketball and softball coach Amanda Rwynolds. She, along with Jacque’s German Shephard, Sassy, were escorted by senior Tanner Clark.
Nina Pierce, a senior candidate for queen, was escorted by senior Jordan Coffman and graciously accepted the crown on Jaque’s be-half. Plans have been made for her to present the crown to Jaque in Little Rock.
“I have announced many home-coming ceremonies, but I have never witnessed anything like this one,” said high school principal Craig Wall.
“The gym was eerily quiet through most of the ceremony, but you could feel the emotion. We have great kids here at Haworth, and they have really come together to support Jaque.
“I have never been more proud of Nina. The courage and maturity she showed in accepting the award for Jaque was just overwhelming. I know it was difficult for Tanner and for Jordan, too. They did a great thing for Jaque and for our school.”
Jaque’s relatives report that her room is full of stuffed animals, pictures, cards and posters that friends have sent. “Everyone comes in and checks out her room and can see how much she is loved. We so appreciate all the prayers and love everyone has shown her,” says her grandmother, Kay Ledbetter.
The address is Arkansas Chil-dren’s Hospital, 800 Marshall, Lit-tle Rock, Ark. 72202. The hospital will not allow flowers in her room. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Jaque Hall Fund.
Her email address is jaqueshomeplate8@yahoo.com
Her mother and father read each day’s emails to her at night before they go to bed.
“Even though Jaque is sedated, we believe that she is hearing us read to her because her blood pres-sure will go up,” her grandmother said.
“Jaque is quite a fighter and her strength is just unreal. Her neuro-surgeon can’t quite believe she is alive. Y’all keep praying for her and sending positive emails. They are helping.”
So far so good...
Well the first reports out of Little Rock are good and the prayers are working. Keep it up there's miles to go still but there are positives around every corner and every minute brings Jaque back to us. Keep posting your messages and thoughts.

Jaque in surgery now...
Just to let everyone know that Jaque will be going into surgery between 12 and 1 pm today. She had a restless night but they are keeping her pretty sedated today so she can be rested up for surgery.
She looks real good and as far as the lung goes she is stable we cont to pray for a miracle and believe she is going to recieve one. She has recieved her first one by just being here.
Our girl is a fighter and is so lucky to have all the friends family and loved ones on her side. We would like to thank everyone for all of the gifs, love , prayer, and support it means so much to everyone especially Chris and Carol they are truely blessed to have so many friends.
I made her a new email address again since I sent too many out on the other one and got locked out. It is jaqueshomeplate8@yahoo.com if you will please send an email individually to her address I can add you to her email address book, it will be easier for me than individually adding them. Or even easier would be to leave Jaque a note here.
Jaques grandpa Phillip bought her a laptop computer, and we got her a printer so when she gets out of surgery and to her own room she will be able to email everyone herself. Her website should be up hopefully today it will be jaqueshomeplate.com
Please spread the word about this site. I will keep y'all updated as I have progress reports.
Keep praying.
Thank you
Grandma Kay

Login and show Jaque the love!!!
Jaque is a miracle and we thank God for such a wonderful creation. Jeremiah 30:17 says God will restore her health and heal her wounds. Praise God for he is the same yesterday today and forever!!!!! We Love You Jaque and thank you Lord!!!!! Keep the Prayers Coming!!!!
Just in case some of you don't know who I am, I'm Jaques grandma Kay. It is so overwhelming receiving and reading these emails from each and everyone of y'all the love support and prayers that is sent out is awesome.
Sorry everyone I was trying to set up Jaque an email address so that when she gets where she can email to everyone she will already have every ones email address in it, also she can keep every ones email.
I bought Jaque a printer so that we can print these emails off as well as receiving emails from the hosp address. Also her grandpa Phillip is going to buy her a Lap Top computer so that she will be able to communicate with each and everyone of y'all.
Her mom and dad read her emails to her every night. Even though Jaque is sedated we believe that she is hearing us read to her because her blood pressure will go up.
Jaque is still about the same which is good at least not going backwards. She is still on the oscillator and they continue to keep her sedated until we can do surgery. They are pushing for next Thursday. Keep praying that the lung continue to heal and we can take her off the oscillator and put her back on just the respirator so that we can do the surgery on her back.
Jaque is quite a fighter and her strength is just unreal. Her neuro surgeon can't quite believe she is alive. Y'all keep praying for her and sending positive emails they are helping.
Her scripture is Jeremiah 30:17 her aunt Priscilla was given that scripture the night the accident happened. The scripture is For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds saith the Lord.... (KJV) It is so ironic that 30 is her basketball number and 8 is her softball number. Also Jaque will be turning 17 next week. The Lord is so good. Priscilla her aunt when praying this morning was given this scripture Psalm 34:20 she keepeth all her bones not one of them is broken and Psalm 32:34 be good courage and he shall strengthen our heart all of us that hope in the lord.
We truly believe that Jaque would not be here with out every ones prayer and it takes all of us standing together and believing.
Thank you again from all of us. I promise to email something everyday now that I have this set up for her. You can cont. to send emails to the hosp and here if you choose.
Remember Jacques birthday is next Saturday the 19Th
