I received this email update on Jaque from Carol. I was so excited to hear Jaque had a great day. Jaque Grandpa and I miss you so much and wish we could be there every step of the way. You know we are in spirit. We are so proud of you. We knew you would rise above what their expectations were. That is just the kinda girl you are. Can't wait to see you again.
EMAIL UPDATE FROM CAROL
Well, this is how we got our minds ready for today. Jaque and Chris said they were going to treat this just like camp.
And, of course, Jaque came through. We had not even gotten out of the room when Jaque's Dr. Murray came in. They have her on a "restricted program." When the doctor entered, he said - "I must be in the wrong room. Who is this girl with the beautiful smile on her face." Jaque just laughed. After talking with us a bit, he asked her what questions she might have. She asked him when she could get off restricted? He said that he liked that attitude. Also, all new patients have a "grandma chairs." She wanted to know when she could get in one of the cool chairs.
He laughed. He told the group to push her as hard as she wanted to go, and left. Then we went to therapy. She sat up on her own (Chris cross applesauce) on a mat and did well in balancing. She lifted weights, they said 3 lbs, but she did 5 lbs. yes actually lifted (no faking). She also did a lot of stretching. Then the OT told us she would be back. When she came back, she had a cool chair for her. Not only did she have a cool chair, it just so happened to be titanium! Much lighter, more like a hot rod chair. Go figure! She got to sit in it a bit, and get the feel.
She should be in it soon, when her balance gets perfected. The ot/pt Jana and Janice told Chris that he must be a coach, Jaque and I just laughed. Well, everyone up here has heard of Haworth OK. They also know all about most of you reading this. We have still been reading the blog and emails to Jaque.
I think that she is just now starting to grasp the multitude of God's mighty work through all of you. Thank you all for your support and prayers. Today we read Psalm 37:3,7 "Trust in the Lord, and do good...............and wait patiently for him."
A special Thanks to Grandma Kay for keeping the blog going. We love and miss you all!!
Jaque remember these scriptures. Paw Paw and I pray for you everyday. These scriptures will help you make it through the day I know they help me.
Jeremiah 30:17 FOR I WILL RESTORE HEALTH UNTO THEE, AND I WILL HEAL THEE OF THY WOUNDS, SAITH THE LORD.
Mark 11:24 What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them and ye shall have them.
Phillippians 4:13 I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHICH STRENGTHENETH ME
Phillippians 4:19 MY GOD SHALL SUPPLY ALL MY NEEDS ACCORDING TO HIS RICHES IN GLORY BY CHRIST JESUS.
Timothy 1:7 (CJ's favorite scripture.) FOR GOD HATH NOT GIVEN US THE SPIRIT OF FEAR; BUT OF POWER, AND OF LOVE, AND OF A SOUND MIND.
Love you and can't wait for the next update. Everyone here says hi and they love you.

Good Morning Beautiful,
It looks like were off to a kick butt start! You and God just keep proving them wrong. I'm so proud of you. I know its tough but you will progress quickly. Isaiah 30:19 You shall weep no more. He will be gracious to you when you cry for help; when He hears your cry, He will answer you. Rejoice in hope be PATIENT in tribulation and continue steadfastly in prayer. Romans 12:12 Be courageous, and He shall strengthen your heart all of you who hope in the Lord. Psalm 31:24 We walk by faith, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7 Praise God you are so awesome and I have total faith in God that you will do ALL THINGS AS HE STRENGTHENS YOU DAILY!!!!!! We miss you and love you bunches!!! You go girl!!!
Hi Jaque,
It's Glenda, You go girl, I knew you could do it. It was so good to hear the good report. But I knew you would show them just how strong you are. Jeremiah 32:27 says, It's not the size of the mountain: But the strenght of the mountain mover. Behold I am the Lord.. Is anything too difficult for me? You and God just keep proving them wrong, and when you don't think you can go any longer just believe and God will be there to go every inch of the way with you. HE WILL GIVE YOU THE STRENGTH YOU NEED.
Keep up the good work,
Tyler said tell my little sister I said Hi and I LOVE Her.
I Love you and I'm PRAYING for you,
Glenda

im so glad that your 1st day of rehab was wonderfull keep up the good work and remember philippians 4:13 I (&) you can do all things through christ who strengthens me. just remember to keep your head high
I got the most inspiring pictures today!! Your mother shared some pictures of you in rehab and it warmed my heart!! During FCA you are especially close to my heart because you epitomize what Fellowship of Christian Athletes is about, and I somehow find a way that our discussion reminds me of you every time we meet! Today it was finding inspiration in your courage and fortitude in such a trying situation---I went home early with a migraine yesterday, and the first e-mail I read was filled with good news and pictures of you. It made me think of how we are all blessed in some way each day, whether big or small, and instead of focusing on the trials of the day (like I did) we should focus on those blessings (like you seem to be). It brings us closer to God, and it makes each day brighter. You look wonderful and seeing those rosy cheeks and that big smile was my blessing for this day!!
All my love,
Mrs. Jones
"Anyone can give up, its the easiest thing in the world to do, but to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, thats
TRUE STRENGHT..."
I PUT THIS QUOTE OVER YOUR PIC THAT I HAVE ON MY "MYSPACE" PAGE...
I LOVE YOU
Sounds like you are doing great. Keep up the good work. The power of prayer is awesome!! I wore my "Jaque shirt" yesterday, went to vote and there were several ladies there that saw it and commented on it. They have been praying for you. One of them keeps up with your web site and the others were glad to put a face with a name. Amanda said she talked to you on the phone for a very long time, and you sounded so pumped up. She loves you so much. I have a good friend (Debbie) that has been praying for you. Her daughter is the one I work with at school and she is with us only by the grace of God. Debbie has helped me through prayer so often. Anyway, she is praying for you and your family. Look forward to hearing more about you therapy. Love Beth Meek (coaches mom)
Hi, you don't know me or I you. But I went to the same school, and my folks work there, and told me about you and your family. I will be praying for you, and like i said i don't know you, but you must be very strong in body and spirit and my whole family is praying for you. I have faith that your going to overcome everything in your way, even this, because your in the Lords hands.
