Ok, I guess by now you all know that we are coming home APRIL 17th. I am doing good to get the 2008 right, much less the month!
We had a great weekend. Stayed in on Friday. Weather was stormy so we ordered pizza and watched movies. Saturday was off to a slow start. Then we went to mall and found earrings for prom. Of course we found lots of other stuff too, but Chris keeps reminding us that he has to have room for him and Eddie in the car (dog). Then after the mall, we traveled to see Eddie. It was a great pick me up for Jaque. They had fun playing. He was excited to see her again. Yesterday we went to the Stone Mountain State Park. I have posted a picture. It was beautiful. All I could think of was my dad, those iron makers and kettle corn poppers. The banjo and fiddles playing - just knew my dad would love it. My dad, aka Papa Danny has not been feeling great. Please keep him in your prayers.
Jaque is getting excited about coming home. She has three days this week, one of which might be in the pool, yeah!!! Her driving evaluation is tomorow. WHAT??? Yep, she will be in a car driving tomorrow. She is nervous about it, so please thing of her 9 AM Atlanta time. On Wed, n we go 20 min north to Ashworth for training with Eddie. Part of that training is going to be outings for dinner, movies, etc. So it will be fun, but also teach them how to get around in public places.
**God is working in Jaque. We came out of the mall one night and were very hungry. We saw Maccino's Italian Rest. Funny thing was we did not want to go to that resturant, but Chris insisted. SO, we gave in. We huffed and puffed, but went anyway. Then we entered and it looked a little fancier on the inside, but we stayed. Then we got the menu and thought ARE WE SURE WE WANT TO EAT HERE? Chris said we can leave if you want. But we were alredy there. So we ordered, and were still hesitant. But we stood strong on our decision. At the table behind us, a man and woman kept staring at Jaque. She said, "mom I think that guy is staring at me" and then she smiled and she said that he just kept smiling at her. Just before we got our food, the lady from the table came over and spoke. She told Jaque that she had a nephew in a chair and he was 26 years old. She said that they could hardly get him out of the house. She gave us his email, and we gave her Jaque's web site. We told her that it would be an inspiration. Not just that about Jaque, but that faith that is felt in our family and friends.
See - God works. Jaque is such an inspiration. Actually, God working through Jaque is touching so many lives. It is the "Jaque" factor. She just has it. In her smile, in her laugh, and in her eyes. And you all are such a blessing to us, every minute of every day. Keep the faith and keep praying. We have come so far together, and we are stronger now that we have every been - all of us.
I will update on the driving. Love ya'll. You guys are great. Carol (Jaque and Chris)

Carol this from your dad and Jaque grandpa (and chris )i don't know what, don't wory about me keeping praying hard for jaque
You are working so hard Jaque and we can't wait to see you home and getting back to you life at Haworth. You are a strong person and God has been working miracles in you and around you. I sometimes catch myself wondering why? The only answer I can come up with is because "God said so." He has a reason for everything, and blessed you with time and patience. In you he is showing us all things are possible. Patience is a one of the hardest things in life to have ( I think) and you and your parents make it seem easy. Things are only gonna get better. I hope you enjoy prom your dress is beautiful. I love you Jaque forever and a day. I love you too Chris and Carol so much. Good luck driving. You'll do great.
Well I just typed you a note and erased it by accident. I'm so proud of you and glad you had a great weekend and pray that you have an awesome time until you come home. I pray that you will feel great and accomplish mighty things this week and next. Prissy, Larissa and I are fasting for you until you come home. You know how hard it is for me not to drink Dr. Pepper. Oh well if you can overcome the obstacles you have had to overcome surely MEME can give up sugar, Dr. Pepper and meat til you get home. I have to go just got home from Lariss's and guess what grandma Della invited us over to eat supper (lol) just when I have decided to fast see how the devil works to try and tempt people. Well I fooled him, I fixed me a baked potato and have some veggies I am taking over there. Oh yes and a big jug of water.
Love you and your mom, dad bunches and can't wait to see you next week. Keep me posted on everything.
LOVE you MEME and PAPA
Hey Jaque! Just got through reading the last blog and I'm so excited about all the great things that are going on around you and your mom and dad. Ya know, I guess I have to confess, I had a terrible day today, feeling alot of stress from work,,,,,ready to tell some people off....feeling sorry for myself....then I got to the hotel and read your blog and felt really ashamed that I let such little things that mean so little get me so upset! See, you have done it again, you reminded me how important life is and that worrying about those little things don't matter! You have such a great attitude and I know that is because of GOD and you letting him work thru you, sometimes us adults find ways to try to "fix" things ourselves and I know I can't do that! I just screw things up worse! SO thanks sweety for reminding me to depend on him! I love you! thanks again Mamaw Hall
Hey You,
We miss you bunches and no racing tomorrow. I'm so glad your doing so well I've really missed you. God has big plans and he also cares about your plans. So remember that when all this is behind you the ones you've met along the way have been no accident. I'm soooo very proud of all that you've accomplished. I can't wait to see the look on everyone's face when you're back walking again. God is going to reveal to you all the secrets of your life one miracle at a time. Remember this is state finals in Atlanta so work hard and kick butt bring home the trophy. We love you sooooo very much.
