can you believe it is October? Where has the year gone?
Jaque has been so busy in school. Our softball is now finished. Although they did not have a good year on record, they had a lot of fun, and showed a lot of heart to the bitter end. Maegan - you did a great job trying to stay focused.
We have been very busy. Lane and Lindi are FINALLY married. Lane, it took you long enough. It was very beautiful and we all had a great time.
Since we have talked last, we have ordered graduation announcements, class rings, and who knows what else. Senior year is tough on the pocketbook, but I could not think of anything in the world I would rather be spending my money on. Jaque, a BIG senior. Wow. I look at her, all grown up and am so proud. She is such a unique blend of Chris and me. I thank God every day. In fact, I changed my alarm in the morning, it says Thank God for One more day with you.
How often do we remember to do that? My dad turned 60 years old on October 3rd. He is a great man. Throughout my life, he has always been at my side. He is the strength that I pull from, he is the rock in our family. And yes dad, I remember the one spanking you gave me. It was the ice water I spilled on you that made me do it. Happy Birthday Dad.
Jaque is doing well. She is gearing up for hunting season. She is continuing to get stronger, and look healthier. I pray that God is working in her, she shows signs of his power throughout her body. He knows that she is strong, and he is not finished with her yet. We must all pray and be prepared to receive God's blessings in her life. She is scheduled to go to Little Rock to Dr Kisser in January for a physical theraphy regimn. Dr McCarthy says that he is the best around. Dr McCarthy would know, he fought the devil for Jaque, and won. As he says, Jaque Jaque Jaque!

Well I can't believe Jaque is a senior either. She is indeed a blend of you and Chris. Deanna is Gearing up for Thanksgiving."Her Aunt Carol comes" Thats her holiday and boy are we thankful this year. We have a new addition to our yard "A DUCK" yes, "A DUCK" and he nips at my legs and chases my Snickers. Can't wait for ya to see it. It doesn't do good for the yard it sheds and well you know Ma-MA. Pa-Pa has taken a liking to Snickers. Looking back where we all were this time last year is AMAZING. God has worked miracles in our lives. I can't wait to see you all and I love you so much. I can't wait for the holidays this year for some reason. I know we are blessed to have our family. Jaque enjoy your senior year. STAY SINGLE!!!! ENJOY IT!!! I love you.

Carol: I'll be thinking of you as you deal with the Senior year. I know, watching Kathy, it is exciting and a little scary at the same time. Please send us a senior picture when you get them because I know Lindsay will be thrilled, we will be also, but Jaque has such a special place in Lindsay's heart & mind. I hope our paths cross at Thanksgiving. Take care and remember we all love you and pray for you daily.

I just wanted to tell all the people that are reading theses comments that they should have seen you and your mom and dad at Shreveport. Talk about boot scooting boogie, that's what those 3 were. It was a joy watching this family dancing, laughing and having a great time. We didn't know that Chris had it in him to dance like that - talk about smooth - that's Chris. Chris and Carol were the perfect couple in LOVE (along with little brother Lane and his bride, Lindi). When Chris danced with Jaque, I got kinda choked up, because it looked like they were dancing a beautiful waltz. I love this family so much. They inspire me to no end. First thing in my heart is to say Thank you God for allowing us to continue to have Jaque with us. She is a joy and an inspiritation to all who come in contact with you.
Jaque I love you so much. It is so wonderful to see what a beautiful person you have grown to be. I can't hardly believe that you will be a senior this year.Wow it seems like yesterday that we were all waiting to met you for the first time. You was a beautiful baby and have grown in to a beautiful young lady inside and out. Where has all the time gone.
You and all my grandbabies were beautiful at Lane and Lindi's wedding. The dance lessons at Georgia paid off didn't they. You and your dad looked wonderful on the dance floor. It just touched my heart so much to see you and your daddy dancing together. Hey all the other guys looked dancing with you too. I'm so glad you was there to share in Uncle Lane and Lindi's weddding.

You know this has been a hard year for all of us. Hoping the holidays will bring many blessing to our family and all those around us.
I have people ask me everyday how you are doing. They all read your blog and keep up with you that way too. So keep up the blog for all those that are continuing to pray for you.

We all had soooo much fun at the wedding and you looked beautiful. I would have never thought of you wearing pink being so tough but you know what they say tough guys wear pink. I know God isn't through with you and NEVER lose sight in what he has in store for you. Stay focused just like in a game lets make this a no hitter!!! Don't ever let the devil bring you down.
