Well, we had a great time at the grandma's. (and Papa's too) It is such a different kind of beautiful in western OK. The weather was perfect, and it was wonderful to see McKenzie, Andrew, Deanna, and little Aryan. God has blessed us with a wonderful family.
On Sunday, Coach Reynolds, Jaque, and I made the journey to Ft. Smith. A young man by the name of Bryant Cummings was injured last week in a four wheeler accident. He is not doing so well mentally, so the good Lord brought it to us. Well, to Jaque I should say.
Words cannot describe to you the feeling that came over me going into that room. I was unsure if this was the right thing to do, unsure of the reaction that it might have on Bryant and Jaque. Yes, I understand that Jaque is a typical teenager, and perfectly imperfect. But touched by the hands of God, yes she has been!!
After just a few seconds, Bryants girlfriend, Coach, and I left the room. We went out and waited with the other family members. Jaque just talked his head off. About what, I am not sure, but she took a picture with her and her deer to show him that Anything is possible.
I answered a few quiet questions from Bryants mother, and family. We all sit, not knowing what to say. After about 45 minutes a few of Bryant's guy friends showed up, Jaque came and joined us. Within a moment, that small section of the hospital was so different. Just with jaque there among them, the air lifted a bit, and it smelled much sweeter. Of course in true jaque fashion, she had them laughing so much. Her stories from school, from rehab, from life in general showed this family that it is what you do with what you have that makes the difference.
When we were getting ready to leave, I gave his mother one piece of advice. I told her that just because she does the research about the situation that he is in, does not mean that he is going to be there forever. That she must know that thru prayer and knowing that God's Will is in control, she will get peace.
God will restore health unto Jaque, and he will heal her of her wounds. JER 30:17.
Please pray for Bryant. His first surgery is Nov 4. Also, please contiune to pray for Jaque, because being a teenage is hard enough. Pray that her wheels will take her where she needs go, that her mind will keep her on the right path, and that when God is ready, she will wear out all her shoes making footprints for us all to follow!
Enjoy the beautiful weather, and the awesome colors of fall. Carol

You know Jaque I can relate to this. You know I thought life was just so unfair and didn't know how much more I could take.
First my mother was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer, second my youngest son was in a bad car accident (work related) where his best friend died in his arms. He was pinned in with him for over an hour. Then it took them a year to figure out that his back for broke from day one of the wreck. He had back surgery, then my mother passed away. Then My little Cj never got over the mental and physical pain from his accident that he took his life. One week later my dad passed away. Then the next month my nephew almost died from acholol poisioning. Then just three weeks after that you had your accident. I thought that I was going to go crazy and that life just about wasn't worth living any more myself.
But you know what, if you look around you can see others that are so much worse off. They don't have any support of family, friends, and they are depressed, and may be all alone.
With all the love, prayer, family, friends and support that was shown us when you had your accident gave me hope to go on.
When God gave you back to us was such a blessing. Your faith, hope and attitude was an inspiration to me and many others. You know that you could have been very bitter and given up the fight to live, but not you. When you woke up you had this beautiful smile on your face and a positive attitude and so much faith and hope.I know that God has a wonderful plan for you. I know that there is a reason for all the trials and tribulation that we are going through at this time. I believe that you will walk and you will be made whole again. I feel that like with this young man you are here to give him hope and to help him and his family to see what an awesome God we serve.
I went this last week to the knee specialist and he could not believe that I could walk with my knees in the condition they were in. I told him about the things in my life that have happened in the last four years that I felt my needs weren't front burner.
My doctor after hearing everything that has happened past four years took my hands and prayed with me and he told me that God will not give you anymore than you can handle. He said although I think you have had your share.
I feel that God has a plan for you and none of us know exactly what it is, but I know it has to be awesome.
You keep sharing God's love, your faith, positive attitude and keep that beautiful smile with your head held high. For I believe God has a great and mighty plan for you.
You have an awesome Mother and Father, family, friends and support team.
Love you so much

Carol: I thank God DAILY for the miracle He gave our family by letting Jaque live. I also thank Him for the ministry he has started through your family. You take the blessings that God has given you and you share them with other families in need of inspiration and hope. We may be miles away but you are always on my mind and in my heart. Take care and we love you all very much.
well sugar,
I'm always proud of you and I remember being in school and all the things a teenager endures. Try to think of this time as preparing you for life. I'm not talking about your legs because All your healing is coming. I'm talking about life in general. We will always have to work hard in what we do and even when it's helping others it takes time and energy. Remember that God is Good and we are simply learning things now for Greater things in the picture. We will overcome by the blood of the lamb and the WORD WE TESTIFY. Telling and really sharing your story. I hope this makes sense I kept falling asleep worked late. Call sometime and wel get it done love you bunches!!!!
