Sorry guys. I made a mistake on Deanna's test. It was ELK City and not Okie City. I am sorry that I had the town wrong, but appreciate your prayers. You know how scatter brained I am, and i think my hearing is slipping a bit.
I would like to share a quick story with you. I have had an issue weighing heavy on my heart and mind. I have been praying about it. You know one of those things that are between you and the big man. We all have them. Those that you do not want to worry family or friends, those that are really small, but important none the less. Well, the other night I had asked God that he show me the way on this. Then I fell asleep. In my dream a man from my church appeared. I respect him very much. He told me that he did not really need to know the details of what I was going through. He said God knew. Just as plain as day he said, "Carol, it is not the issue that God is worried about. It is the actions that caused it. Carol, God will forgive the action, but you must change the behavior that caused it." Wow. That is powerful. He said that God forgives us and washes away the sin no matter how big or small. But we must do our best to change our actions that led us to it.
This is so true for little things, or big ones. It is so true even when we question God's reasons or our own understandings. He will be there for us, he is always there. While Jaque was in the shower last night, I shared this with her. It, to me, was a powerful message that all people need to understand. I wanted to say YOUNG people, but the more I think about it, it is for us all.
Whether we are feeling bitter over the things that are tough in our lives, or if we are just struggling in this wonderful ecomony, God is there for us. We must live each day trying to be the best we can, and that is all he really asks of us.
I pray for Jaque. I pray that each day she feels the love of at least one of you. I pray that a day does not go by that someone is not praying for her.
We are all going through a battle. Question is are we going to lay down as the army closes in on us, or are we going to gather our friends around and fight any way that we know how? Guess that is why they call them PRAYER WARRIORS. Be one with me.
Can you imagine the past year without God in our lives? I cannot.
Jaque's theraphy is going well. She loves going to Chance's and working out. Eddie and Sassy fight over who gets to sleep with her at night. Today at school they took Softball and Basketball pictures. She had to wear her jersey. Good ol' #8 and #30. I almost cried when I saw her with her softball one on. She looked gorgeous. She was radiant. God saved her that she could be here. God has a plan for her. And she says if he will hurry, she might could flunk out and play her senior year with Courtney and Celeste. She said she might look kind of funny running, but that would be ok. I bet none would be laughing, just lots of crying.
May God restore health unto Jaque and heal her of her wounds. All things are possible. And last but not least, in true Jaque Hall fashion, BOW UP! geez.
love you all. Carol

Hey Jaque, Chris & Carol, OH and of course Eddie and Sassy,
Uncle Garry and Aunt Terri here. The growth that I have seen and have read in your blogs have blessed us. You are an amazing family. I agree with the comment made by Terri G. and Rickey, Powerful messages and THE HOLY SPIRIT IS VERY MUCH ALIVE in all of you! You are great Motivational speakers. Have you ever thought about going to different schools and churches and share? I know that Heaven is smiling down on you. We love you guys so much and God's word is real yesterday, today and forever. We are standing on the Word with you. I am ready for a fish fry Jaque and Chris, do you think you can handle that for me? Let me know when to come. Love you all and I am sending a bunch of kisses. Oh yeah, Uncle Garry and I are on a weight loss roll. We are doing the BIGGEST LOSER here at school. Our team is in first place this week.
OH Carol how close to home that message hit. Thank you for it. I believe that God was speaking through you for me in a different situtation. Yes it has been a very hard past year and a half. I would be so easy to give up and lose the faith but with family and friends praying for us all things are possible with God that strengthens us. That was such a powerful message.
Carol, Chris and Jaque ya'll are such an inspiration to so many people out there and especially me.
Our prayers are with ya'll
love you so much and so proud of all of ya'll
MIMI and PAPA
