Just want to let Jaque know how many of you are reading this blog everyday, or at least once a week. So this is what I propose ---- if you are reading this, simply send this message to Jaque:

As the preacher was speaking today, he said "my little buddy Jaque." He used her in his sermon, and it was wonderful. I told Jaque that it was the one time in my life I can remember using a teenage as a positive, and as an example of the attitude that he wants us all to have. He talked to us all on rebellion, and the consequences of your actions. He and I had talked in the hospital about Jaque. I told him that right after she turned 16 we went through a period of her wanting more freedom. But I shared with him that she was actually where she was suppose to be, with who she was suppose to be with. About two months before her accident, she had really began to "mellow" and she had gotten over that part, and really began to come into her own as a lovely young lady.

He was telling us that sometimes if we are not listening, God will make us take notice. He said that he understood this. He said, "I just do not understand why this had to happen to our Jaque." That you can be doing everything right in your life, and bad things can happen. He said that he was so proud of her and her attitude. he said that he can not wait to share in her glory when she walks, and that she has touched so many people. Her name was on the church sign and the sign at school from her accident until she came home. Grown people we brought to tears. Some I had no idea Jaque even knew. After church adults came up to us one by one. Hugging her and telling her how much they loved her and how much she meant to them. Then a woman that I officially met today stopped me on my way out. She was talking about how our church fasted for 21 days. During that time we rec'd many blessings. She said that she just wanted to say that Jaque had no idea how many lives she has touched. She said that the Lord has been speaking with her about Jaque, and that she was going to touch so many more when she takes that first step.

Prasie God for the witness that she will be, and for allowing us all to share, and carry forward to others.

Of course you know her, she had to have the last word. Bro Jerry came over and she hugged him and thanked him and then said "Guess it is a good thing I showed up this morning, cause you would not have had much to talk about if I didn't." Typically Jaque, right.

Might have told you all this before, but Our church has given us a sign to put in our yard. They also have t-shirts for a campaign that they are doing. Bro Jerry is a wise man -- it says Nothing is to hard for God. When I think that God has used her in a way I thought impossible, she turns up on TV, in the paper, and now in a sermon. Bro Jerry is right, she is indeed a blessed child.

By the way, she is loving being back in her car. I think it brought the blood pressure up 10 pts. To Grandma Donna, Grandma Kay, and Mamaw Melinda - thank you all so much for coming and helping out the past three weeks. You are indeed great women. I love and appreciate you very much. Just wanted to let you all know that you are unique and special each in your own way, and I love you for that.

This is the last week of school, so I have asked Jaque to get me some good pictues to post for you all. I will post.

One last thing. Thanks to Jason, Lauren, and Jax for creating this wonderful site for all of our family and friends to keep up with Jaques progress. I hope to see you soon. I am sure Jason, that you are a wonderful father. Just remember to teach him to play cards as well as you did Jaque and you will be just fine.
