May shower's bring the LAKE!

I guess you have all been thinking about us camping. We got a call on Friday afternoon of a couple wanting our camper. We picked up our new one and took Jaque camping on Friday night. She really had a great time. It has enough room for her to manuver throughout. She even picked up a couple of friends and they came and spent the night.

Yes, we have a few things to improve on, but it really was nice to get away. We went with Bo and Lori in their boat. I was nervous. I asked Jaque if she was cold, were the waves bothering her, was she getting sick at her stomach. She said "Mom, I am fine. It is just like riding in the boat last year." Then she had the Dah look for me. You all know that one.

We were all sitting around Sat night just talking and eating the wonderful dinner that Lori had prepared for us. A lady came over and told us that there were storms all around. That we might want to take cover. Lori and I looked at the sky, and agreed that it wasn't that bad. About that time it started to rain, with eventual hail. Still, to us it was not that bad. We decided to be safe and head to the bathrooms for cover. By the time we got there the radio said the worst (a tornado warning) had just passed us, and we were in the clear. Of course it rained off and on all night, but we were out of the bad weather. The next day it was a little windy, but the sun came out. Even enough to catch a suntan.

Funny. In the eye of a storm we sat. Jaque, Maegan, Madison, Me, Lori, Bo, and Chris. All friends. All trusting in one another. We sat calmly, because we were in the presence of true friendship. We knew as long as we were all together, we would be ok. We knew that the is always sunshine after the rain. I guess you could say we all had faith that we would not be harmed.

Our journey with you ALL and Jaque is the same feeling for me. She actually moved her entire lower right leg on command today twice. Yes, just twice. Just????? No, I should say YES, TWICE. Then it was gone. But I know that all of you are sitting at my picnic table with me. I know that we are in this together. I know that without a doubt God is bringing us all through this journey. In each of our lives, we are to learn something from this. Not see something different, but actually learn what we have been looking over in our lives. God is there every minute of every day. He is the only one that will always be there for us. We must listen closely and learn from what he shares with us. He did not harm Jaque, but she is our Superman - so through her - we are seeing a brighter light.

I will close today with a short story. I ran into a man from idabel yesterday. He said he was so sorry for us. He said that he knew of a little girl that had an accident about three years ago and she was depressed for the first two. He said that he hated that I had to go through that with Jaque. I just giggled. yes, I giggled at him. I told him that he must not have seen Jaque since her accident. he said no he had not. I told him that I appreciate his concern, but that he did not need to worry. That Jaque is going to be ok. I told him that Jaque is stronger than anyone that I have ever met. That she is truely an inspiration to all around her. And I also told him that God is just making us be patient. I know in my heart that she will walk again. I have no doubt. Not sure quite when, but I have not doubt. At that moment, I felt a peace in my heart that was as if God came down and kissed me square on the forehead. It was glorious.

We must continue to give him the glory. I thank Maegan, Madison, and Haley for coming over last night and keeping me up til midnight to help jaque with homework and her nameplate for tonights sports banquet. They are great friends. I also hope that Ethan is reading this blog and know that he and his family is always in our hearts and prayers.

I will update on what might happen at the sports banquet tonight. It will be emotional for our Coach. jaque made a sign with her and Coach Reynolds on it that says 2008-09 Coaches. Too funny, huh. Love ya'll.

Hey Sweetie,
i miss you every day and I promise you that you are inspiring me to continue to believe in the prayers that I have prayed for years. Never give up hope in the Lord he will see us through. We must believe though that is the key to true miracles and blessings. It's amazing in everything in life how God shows us he is still there. You know it maybe just a smile you receive from someone that helps you continue in your faith or maybe you have the joy of being part of a huge story like yours. I'm so proud of you all may this journey change your faith forever and keep your focus on the Lord and his plans.
Love you Bunches hope to see you soon.
Miss you bunches!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Congrats on the awards and make room for many more

Jaque may your life be filled with great and mighty things. May your days be exciting with each new step the Lord gives you. May you continue to be an inspiration to all who come in contact with you, that the joy of the lord shines through you. I pray that your classmates, teachers, and friends see what your faith, your parents and families faith in the lord and the love you have for him has done for you, and continues to do. I pray that those who come in contact with you, especially the young people will grow to love and trust the lord. Time is so short for us here on this earth, that we need to give our lives to the lord and trust in him with all our hearts. You are such a wonderful example of what a miracle is and what God can do.
We love you so much, and so thankful that you are still with us today. Keep your eyes on God, for all things are possible to those that believe.
Thank you God for our Jaque. I pray that you continue to encamp your angels around her and her parents and keep them safe. Thank you for the many prayers that you have answered and the lives that have been changed because of what you have done for her. I pray that they never lose sight of you. AMEN

Love you
